Partners in Ministry

Through its annual budget from congregational mission support, the Saint Paul Area Synod provides financial support to the following partners in ministry. In addition, annual ministry reports from each partner are listed here (PDF).

ELCA Region 3

ELCA Region 3, one of nine geographic clusters of synods in the ELCA, works to facilitate communication, cooperation, and collaboration among nine synods—just over 1800 congregations—in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

The Region 3 office, located at Luther Seminary, houses churchwide deployed staff representing building consultation, the Mission Investment Fund, the Division for Evangelical Outreach and Congregational Mission; Vocation and Education, and Synodical Relations and provides archival services to congregations through a staff person shared with Luther Seminary. The Region 3 Camping Network is also housed with Region 3.
