Evening Prayer for Unity at the Cathedral of Saint Paul (1.21.18) “A Living Hope” I Peter 1:3-5 [...]
On Saturday, February 10, the Guatemala Companion Task Force of the Saint Paul Area Synod invites you to a morning of exploring what “accompaniment” means to the vitality of our partnerships in the global church.
Come hear from special guest Paulina Dasse, manager for relationships, Latin America and the Caribbean, with ELCA Global Mission. She will be joining us to talk about the value of companion-synod relationships, as well as what barriers they face. The day will also include workshops and a time to be together as we celebrate this relationship that we have in common.
Curious to learn what partnership within the global church looks like? Come and see! This workshop is free and open to all who wish to learn more about accompaniment, the global church, and the synod’s companion partnership with the Iglesia Luterana Agustina de Guatemala. Registration opens at 8:45 am, programming begins at 9:00 am. Questions? Email Chloe Ahlf at firstname.lastname@example.org.
