Ministeriums are gatherings held for rostered leaders three times annually—in the fall, winter, and the spring—to explore topics of interest to those serving the church. A worship service and time for fellowship are also included. The winter ministerium is typically held jointly with the Minneapolis Area Synod.
Spring Ministerium
The most recent ministerium was held April 18, 2013, 8:30 a.m.-12:00 noon at Shepherd of the Hills, Shoreview.
This event focused on promoting critical conversations around advance care planning with our faith communities; conversations that provide opoortunities to name the values and beliefs that inform your wishes and will help loved ones speak on your behalf in the event you are unable to do so.
Presenters included the Rev. BJ Larson, Fairview, and the Rev. Norm Belland, Healtheast, specialized ministers in pastoral care and certified facilitators in advance care planning.

Fall Ministerium
The 2012 fall ministerium for rostered leaders in the Saint Paul Area Synod was held on Thursday November 8, 2012, 8:30 a.m.-12:00 noon, Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, Roseville. The subject for this ministerium was, "Reforming the Church: Mission and Ministry in an Age of Limit."
