Marriott, Mall of America, Bloomington. The Lutheran Community Foundation, in partnership with the ELCA Justice for Women, is providing training for congregational teams interested in addressing domestic and sexual violence. The goal is to prepare clergy and lay leaders to prevent and intervene in family violence and to create safe congregations. The Lutheran Community Foundation will cover the cost of four members from each of 25 congregations, including sleeping accommodations, and the cost of all meals and training fees. Congregations in the Minneapolis Area and Saint Paul Area Synods have priority. The deadline for applications is April 1.
