Minister for Youth
Trinity Episcopal Church is a growing, vibrant faith community that welcomes all. Located in the heart of Excelsior, Minnesota on Lake Minnetonka, Trinity is seeking to hire a qualified individual to fill the part-time position of Minister for Youth.
The Minister for Youth and Young Adults will be responsible for equipping youth, young adults (grades 6-12), and their families in their own rite to grow and function as people of faith in the 21st century by engaging and guiding them in their moral and faith development. He or she will collaborate with the Rector to envision, develop and provide dynamic age-appropriate education and faith formation programming, with an emphasis on developing a far reaching, cohesive vision of ministry for youth and their families, articulating the needs and gifts of youth, and communicating a vision that helps staff and parishioners understand the prophetic role of youth in all aspects of church life.
We are looking for someone with exemplary relational skills who is on fire for the Gospel and not afraid to talk about Jesus. The Minister for Youth must deeply value the power of Christian community and be able to reach across cultures and generations to bring a connected vision of life-long learning and spiritual maturation to life. In addition to possessing the relational skills and high character necessary to undertake this charge, the excellent candidate will demonstrate ability or experience in the following areas:
• Executing and managing new or existing youth programs, including curriculum creation and implementation;
• Organizing teams to provide programmatic support and development;
• Teaching and leading sessions with youth as well as adults;
• Developing and implementing opportunities for intergenerational learning, worship, and mission, including but not limited to mission work;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;;
• Experience in managing a budget and fundraising, or desire to gain this experience.

Interim Choir Director
Richfield Lutheran Church is seeking an interim choir director for their Senior Choir and Bell Choir, and for assisting with a casual worship service. November 2014 through February 2015.
