Director of Music Ministry

Cherokee Park United Church is seeking a person to serve as a part time Director of Music Ministry/Accompanist who is enthusiastic about a creative blend of traditional and contemporary/world music.  The director will work with a choir of approximately 18 members and support volunteer cantors in leading the congregation in a variety of sung responses and other service music.  We are seeking a candidate who embraces the congregation’s commitment to theological openness, justice commitment, gender inclusiveness, antiracism and a full welcome of LGBT members and friends. Worship is at 10:15 a.m. from September through May and 9:30 during the summer. Choir rehearsals are on Wednesday evening. Cherokee Park United Church, located on St. Paul’s West Side, is affiliated with the United Church of Christ and the Presbyterian Church U.S.A.
