Communications Administrator

We are an energized and inclusive congregation devoted to a mission of transforming lives through God’s grace for authentic Christian living. We are seeking a competent and caring individual to oversee congregation communications, with responsibility for print and electronic communications, including newsletter, e-communication and website content. The position also has responsibility for working collaboratively with the Director of Worship and Music to design all media for worship, including bulletins and slides. The person in this position will work in a fast-paced, busy, open office environment to respond to the needs of members, building users and visitors as needed.

 

Applicants must be creative; experienced in graphic layout; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, web tools/CMS, social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), and email marketing programs such as Constant Contact; possess excellent communications and customer service skills;  have the ability to see the role of administrator as a ministry role in support of congregation-wide mission; have 3-5 years of experience in communications, including website management; and have a bachelor’s degree or additional experience in communications.
