Deaths

The Rev. Russell A. Peterson, 87, died Friday, Jan. 20. Peterson graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, before receiving an M. Div. from Augustana Lutheran Theological Seminary in Rock Island, Ill. He began ordained ministry on June 19, 1955. Throughout his ministry he served several Minnesota congregations, including East Chain, Blue Earth; Salem, Elmore; Evangelical Lutheran, Cokato; and Chisago Lake, Center City.
