Red Shirt, Pine Ridge Oglala Lakota Indian Reservation, South Dakota. The outdoor gathering will include meditative prayer together three times a day, Bible study, workshops, small group sharing, and meals together, provided by the local Lakota people. The event is meant for young people aged 18-35. Participants will be camping in tents at the site of the meeting.

Westwood, St. Louis Park. Event offers a series of interactive presentations that will help those in Children, Youth and Family leadership understand the current landscape of religion in America and learn skills/attitudes that will help congregations adapt to the changes of this missional age. This is free training put on by the Minneapolis and Saint Paul Area Synods as part of the Practice Discipleship Initiative of the ELCA. Something to Sing About is a small-group Bible study coming to Dunn Bros Coffee House in Hugo. For the first three Wednesdays in June, Dr. Charles Puskas, from Living Waters, Lino Lakes, will lead an informal study into the writings of Paul, particularly Paul’s Letter to the Philippians. It is open to the public and free, except for food and beverage. Something to Sing About will be held on June 5, 12, and 19.

St. Andrew's, Mahtomedi. Care to get parents on board at the core of children, youth and family ministry instead of the sidelines? Rich Melheim, an ELCA pastor under specialized ministry call to the Saint Paul Area Synod, is holding one of his 55 national "Holding Your Family Together" seminars at St. Andrews, Mahtomedi. The afternoon seminar runs from 1:00-5:00 p.m., teaching pastors, staffs and church leaders how to turn Sunday morning into a cross-generational worship experience with the FAITH5 (Share, Read, Talk, Pray, Bless). The evening event, 6:30-8:00 p.m., is free to the public, will teach parents and children the easy-to-remember, five-step faith practice that can help you hold your family together in a few minutes each night. AGORA formally aligned with the Luther Seminary Global Mission Institute in the fall of 2012 to fulfill the shared mission of equipping congregations and leaders for expanded Christian mission and ministry. The event will begin at Chapel of the Cross in Northwestern Hall at Luther Seminary.

Augsburg College, Minneapolis. How should Christian faith and science relate to one another? Join us as we look at ways of relating science and theology, explore the questions that arise when science and theology meet, and talk about how science and faith constructively interact by looking at examples from specific scientific disciplines. All of this takes place in the classroom and beyond through a series of off-campus community based learning experiences.Cost is $250 (includes housing, meals, and all program activities).
