Growing in stewardship with the Macedonia Project

Macedonia Project's Congregational Cohort Design might be for you!

During this eighteen month project, congregational teams of six to eight people will come together to focus on four areas of stewardship: biblical and theological underpinning of stewardship, creating stewardship mission and vision within the congregation, how to raise up stewardship leaders, and how to communicate the message.>

Teams covenant to meet together monthly to engage in this important work. Each unit takes about four months to complete. During each unit, there will be one large group meeting in which all of the congregations will participate and one meeting in which three or four congregations will come together to share their learnings. The other two monthly meetings in each unit will involve the congregational teams meeting to do their work (one of those meetings will involve meeting with stewardship coach).

Sixteen congregations from Minneapolis and Saint Paul are already part of the pilot group for this project. A second group of congregations are being invited to participate in this project beginning in January, 2013. There will be an informational meeting later this fall.
