Coordinator for Synod Communications
Chloe Ahlf joined the synod in October 2014. Chloe earned her degree in communications from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in 2013 and has since worked in event planning, development, and communications for The Arc Greater Twin Cities, Domestic Abuse Project, and various political campaigns. A member of an ELCA congregation for 16 years, Chloe is passionate about telling the stories of our ministry settings and deepening the connection of what it means to be church. Chloe lives in the Cathedral Hill neighborhood of St. Paul with her cats Gogo and Max.
In her role as Coordinator for Synod Communications, Chloe:
- Manages, develops, and maintains written and graphic content for all electronic communications including website, newsletters, and social media, as well as print materials
- Assists in developing effective communication for synod's partnerships in Tanzania and Guatemala, as well as the synod's Public Witness committees
- Works in partnership with synod staff and congregations to find creative ways to reach out to new and expanded audiences
- Serves as resource to committees and congregations on matters of communications
