“Act Boldly” is the theme for this triennium for the Women of the ELCA! Women are challenged to act boldly and reach out to all ages and fill the need, whatever it may be.  Women of the ELCA can make a difference in churches, communities, our state, and the world.

The mission statement of Women of the ELCA is to mobilize women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ. What is God’s Spirit prompting us to hear? Our purpose statement remains: As a community of woman created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society, and the world. How is this speaking to us as women of the Saint Paul Area Synod? Is this a glimpse of the Kingdom of God? Is this our journey? And then, how do we facilitate this vision in the coming year?
