Over the past week and a half, the BKB Team in Iringa has visited all six of the Diocese Secondary Schools and met with hundreds of students - each one expressing gratitude in her or his own way. While students at some schools write letters to Minnesota as part of their language classes, at Mtera Secondary School two students were invited to share speeches with the visitation team. The following is what they shared...
Praise the Lord! In front of you, we are the students sponsored by Bega Kwa Bega. We thank you for being with us and sacrificing to help us as your children. And this I pray, "that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense until the day of Christ." (Phillippians 1:9-10)
We are promising that we will be (faithful) to God and other. May God bless and be with all of us now and then. Amen!
Praise the Lord! My name is -----. I am in Form Three. I thank God for this wonderful day and, also, I am glad to meet you. Through the word of God (Psalm 41:1) it says, "Blessed is he who considers the poor; the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble."
I thank all of you for your aid to bring me here. All in all this is the plan of God because our God is great and nothing is impossible to him. I have no more words but I leave all of this to God and always I will pray for the protection of God to you and for long life. Thank you and be blessed,
